Neil never intended to be a musician. He was supposed to make a living writing and drawing comic books. Although he flirted with guitar since childhood, it wasn’t until his final days studying Fine Art at Northern Illinois University that Neil was asked to join his first band. He believes his inclusion was the direct result of every other real guitarist in town being taken. That, and the fact he owned an adequate amount of gear that everyone always needed to borrow.
Neil has played in a variety of bands over the years, including The Logistics, Catsplash, and A Day Without – his first project with Hobbes.
His weakness is peanut butter.
