Candle of Hope

On January 21, 2010 Neil’s mother passed away after a long battle with Corticobasal Degeneration (CBD) – a rare and terrible neurological disease characterized by the breakdown of the portions of the brain that process information and control motor skills.  After her death, he discovered Cure PSP – the world’s leading nonprofit organization working to improve the awareness, education, care and cure for CBD and other prime of life neurodegenerative diseases, including PSP and MSA.

Earlier this week, Cure PSP launched their Candle of Hope interactive map campaign.  They’re inviting you to light a candle in your home honoring someone you love who suffered from or is battling CBD, PSP, or other related brain diseases, to symbolize the hope that remains when almost all seems lost.

Please feel free to follow the instructions at the link HERE to put your candle on the map.
